News from the Primary Coordinator

We have finally come to the end of 2019. What a year it has been!

I would like to announce that I will be taking a break next year and am honored and pleased to announce that Mrs Esra Uzunbay will be replacing my position for 2019 as the Year 5 and 6 Integrated Studies teacher and the Primary Coordinator.

This term has been one filled with lots of excitement and action, particularly for the graduating students and their parents. We are all here to bid farewell to our students who are leaving Primary and entering High School.

My dear Year 6 students, despite all the great challenges, you have encountered in the course of your studies in Year 6, at the end of it all, you completed this part of journey with great achievements and wonderful memories.

Today, I am honoured to say, we are proud of your many achievements over the years, your various accomplishments in almost all curriculum and extra curriculum activities. Your brilliant achievements in academic discourse and in sports are indeed acknowledged. Your memories will forever remain in our hearts.

My dear students, as you leave Primary, expect that some challenges await you, which of course, I strongly believe going by your antecedents and the manner you have conducted yourselves over the years and the skills and knowledge we have imparted in you, you will surely overcome them.

Be kind and good to people you meet on your way up. Think positive thoughts and be optimistic in whatever you are doing.

On behalf of the college, I bid you farewell and wish you best of luck in your days ahead.

A BIG thank you to all Parents, Family and Friends for your overall support, your trust in us and our school and for always positively collaborating with us to better assist your child.

A reminder about all important dates for 2019 will be sent out to all parents which will include our first day back at school, Meet the Teacher, Uniform Shop/Books opening hours and all camp dates.

I wish all families a safe and enjoyable summer break and I hope to see you all when I return!

Kind Regards,
Yesim Balkaya
